Can I still fold my rack with the RIVAL Sidekick Add-on?

  • Yes, you can still fold your rack with the RIVAL Sidekick Add-on.

Will the RIVAL Sidekick fit on my rack?

The RIVAL Sidekick is compatible with your rack when ALL of the following conditions are true!

  • 3"x3" 11-Gauge posts with 1" holes
  • Standard offset 2" hole spacing
  • 80"+ squat racks or posts 

Do I need to remove the pulley system to use my rack for power lifts?

  • NO! You do not need to remove the Sidekick to perform barbell lifts on your rack. Our unique design and cable routing allows for full rack use while the sidekick is in place on your rack

Do the Pulleys Swivel?

  • The pulleys do not swivel once they are locked in with their bracket - however, multiple angles of pull can still be performed.
  • NOTE - Pulleys perform best when the pull is straight.

Can I adjust the the (2) pulley exit points of my Sidekick?

  • No, you cannot adjust the pulley exit points of your sidekick. The (2) frames must sit within their slot to avoid cable rubbing.

Product Description

The RIVAL Sidekick features cable system functionality designed to add a low profile cable system to your squat rack without sacrificing your squat rack uprights. Our cable routing sits behind the rack allowing lifters to add attachments, perform functional trainer exercises, and power lifts, all without sacrificing your uprights like other pulley add-ons. The Sidekick is custom designed for 3"x3" squat racks with 1" holes and offset hole spacing! Its trolley glides seamlessly with integrated bearings and mini rollers that do not scratch the upright. The sidekick can be easily stored away when not in use using the included mag pin.

(1) RIVAL sidekick consists of two pulley exit points, one high and one low pulley.
